Tournament Info

Vancouver tournaments are held at Soho Cafe and Billiards in Yaletown. Lots of foosers show up at Soho every Friday night even when there aren't tournaments. If you have some experience, but have never played tournament rules, the local players are more than happy to explain the few important rules in advance and also as they arise.

Many tournaments are handicapped, so if you're new to tournaments you get spotted up to two goals and the first drop of each game! (Or even more for Singles). Plus, it's a great way to learn tournament foosball. We have a wide range of players, from beginners to the best in Canada!

All local tournaments are on the schedule, and are generally as follows:

Doubles: every Sunday night at Soho at 8:00 sharp. Come earlier to get some practice in and play some pickup games. On Draw Your Partner (DYP) nights (most nights), partners are drawn at random, so you can gain experience through playing with different partners of varying calibres. There are lots of pickup games for fun and practice once the tournament is underway as well!

Singles: every second Friday night at Soho at 8:00 sharp.

It's $5 to enter the tournaments. All of the entry fees are pooled and then awarded to the top two to four places, depending on the size of tournament.

There are tables at Bankshots at 16050 Fraser Highway in Surrey, phone is (604) 543-7468.

The place to play in Victoria is Peacock Billiards! Friday nights are when most of the foosers come out. For more info, give them a call at (250) 384-3332.
